Scar Treatment Oil or Facial Oil Dilution Your Choice
The carrier oil base is made with apricot kernel oil and avocado oil, which are both easily absorbed and nutrient rich for your skin. I took out the rose essential oil (the most expensive ingredient) and replaced it with a blend of Palmarosa and Rosewood (sustainable source). Other essential oils included are helichrysum, carrot seed, frankincense, and lavender. I also added some CO2's of evening primrose and borage seed to get some essential fatty acids in there and used calendula CO2 instead of infused calendula oil. And, as always, Rosehip seed CO2. CO2 extracts are whole plant extracts and give you the same healing properties as the pressed oils but in a more stable form. Carbon dioxide is used as a solvent to extract the properties of the fresh plant and then the temperature is raised enough for the CO2 to evaporate off so there is absolutely no solvent left.
Since I know some of you are going to want to use this as a facial oil I have included 2 options in this listing. You have a choice of a more intense dilution to use for spot treatement of scars or a lower dilution to use as a facial oil. As a scar treatment choose the 5% dilution of essential oils. For a facial oil choose the 2.5% option. They no longer come in the bottle shown but instead are packaged in amber glass bottles with euro dropper tops.
